Made a start with this "Conny"

The hull is compleet empty with exeption of the cockpit.
So first i made a floor and a bulkhead. I don't think you'll be seeing a whole lot of this when eventually the hull will be closed.
romp1.jpg
Next up is opening some windows (yellow squares) and closing some windows (red squares)
Luckily i red through the instuctions before closing the hull.

That's all for now.
Any sugestions are welcome.

This week i had time to paint the frontface of the motors black end gave the a drybrush with aluminium to light up the details

Next i painted the inside of the engine nacelles aluminium to save me some work afterwards.

Next thing was to gleu it all together.

Next thing will be opening up the window in the hull and also close some windows as per instruction.
Luckily there will be fewer window to open than to close so that i will have enough windows included with this kit. :D

Till next update.

opened up the necessary windows (red square) en closed some with styreen.(first window in hull)
The other side more or less the same.
romp.jpg
Driled a little hole in the exhausts
uitlaat.jpg
and finally gleud it all togehter.
Unfortunately the cat thought he could play with my plane and pushed it of my workbench. :wall:
after the crash landing the seem on top of the fuselage broke open.
luckely this was rather easy to repair.

She seems a bit "spotty" this is cause the fist layer of primer didn't adhere.
I'm being busy in stripping conny of this first layer of primer.

Till next update.

This plane will be painted with allclad II.
I drilled a hole in the fuselage and gleud in a rod of spreu. This way i've got a handle to hold this plane.

First a layer of alclad primer

Next i used aluminium

This Conny is ready to get a place on my shelf.

I put on the decals, the antennas and made a stand.

Very very nice mate. Love the finish, congrats on your first Alclad. The stand is great. How did you make it?

:cheers2:

Thanks Willem for your kind words.

the stand is made from a piece of scrap wood an a plate of alluminium.

The base (wood) was a piece of scrap timber out of the bin about 4.5 by 4.5 cm and something like 10 cm long which i cut in half lenghtwise.
out of the aluminium plate i cut a V-shape and bend it into the right shape.
the plane is fixed using a spacer with thread.
If you like i can make a rough drawing.
