waiting to see it complete ...I assume that you have some special connection with the I-16
well nice little plane and really one more to follow ! Even I will buy another as all the camo schemes are real nice , will have to check the ICM's one with skis ...all white , should be awesome , do not know about the kit if it is good or not !
Good luck with this one , master of the 'Ratas'

- "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more...."
You're stamping out great looking aircrafts like a wartime factory.
I actually tried to buy a couple of these kits the other day, but guess what - the are out of stock
Good luck with the build, I'm sure it will turn out as beautiful as the other ones

I've mount all the small details on the inside of the fuselage halves
Now a little detail painting is needed before putting the fuselage together

I've got alot done tonight

I mounted the landingear together and gave it a wash, drybrushed pigments on the exhoust pipes and mounted them in the fuselage, painted the last on the cowling and also mounted machineguns and venturi probe
I used a mix of oils as a wash on the landingear doors
A 50/50 mix of dark brown and black
On the exhoust pipes I used Mig productions old rust and soot and fixed it with white spirit.
The silver ring on the cowling was painted with a silver pencil from Pilot
And this is how it looks with the machinegun mounted
I hope I will finish it tomorrow
