re-boxed kits....?

Post by burnie43 »

Morneen gang

For many hours now I have been wondering where you find out information as to who makes kits for what manufacturers...?
I saw that the Zvezda KT is actually a Dragon kit and it stimulated this thought..are there other Dragon kits boxed by different manufacturers >
Cheers guys

I just seem to know it. When ICM released their Mercedes G4 kit and soon i saw a Revell G4 i assumed it was the same kit just in a different box. This is very often the case.

your assumption is correct Lysus, scalemates.com is the go to reference site for any thing kit related. :th: use it all the time to do research into kits and aftermarket accessories for them great site.

Nailed it. :th:

Once you're certain and have settled on the kit you want, Hannants' catalogue section has a very good set up for finding aftermarket goodies specific to individual kits. Just find the kit in their catalogue and it will automatically list aftermarket PE, Resin, Decals and all the other good stuff.

Of course, you don't have to buy from them (this is not an endorsement) but its great for info if you want to look elsewhere.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
