Another nice piece! what are you using for the fine rigging? I've got the smallest ez line, but it seems a bit big for 1/700? Cheers buddy

Thank you kind Sir! I used stretch sprues for the rigging. The longer you burn the plastic bar, the thinner it gets, when you stretch both ends.

Thank you! Patience is definitely key for this kind of intricate modeling. It's never easy to paint boats. Things snap easily and some parts are impossible to weather properly.

Excellent build Sir, great detail and finish . I'm a newbie at all sorts of stuff but have just taken delivery of the Tamiya 1/350 version of the Prince of Wales so this build is very interesting to see.

Lol, starting the POW might not be for a while judging by the PE kit that arrived today....I bought the Pontos upgrade and boy is there a lot of very small stuff which I'm going to have to plan out very carefully

That´s a fair share of brass. Forward planning would be wise. I´ve only handled PE once, to jazz up a dismal looking battleship from Airfix. That would be the 1:600 Bismarck. Took me ninety days to finish her. The brass wasn´t the worst part, I think nailing over 600 pegs to make stanchions for the railings could top it off. All the best and fair winds on your PoW.
