Thinner for Vallejo Model Color Paint? Ultimate or Vallejo??

Gentlemen,

I read that it is best to match the make of the acrylic thinner to the make of the acrylic paint. I plan to hand brush Vallejo model color paint.
Is it best to use the Vallejo medium thinner (#73524 60ml) or Ultimate?

The Ultimate thinner is available in 260 ml bottle for US$17 while the Vallejo 60ml bottle is US$5. The Vallejo is therefor about 35% more costly on a ml
basis.

Will the less costly Ultimate (United Modeling Products) give me the same results as the Vallejo?

Yep i use our thinner all the time with vallejo and it works perfectly especially with the model colour.

The Ultimate thinner (#002) is labled as "airbrush" thinner. I plan to use Vallejo Model Color to HAND brush. Would this not thin the paint too much?
Vallejo makes a distinction in their thinners between use with Model Color (hand brush), and Model Air (airbrush).

Do you hand brush, or airbrush, the Vallejo Model Color with Ultimate thinner?

It all depends on how much you thin it rather than the thinner, both will thin the paint perfectly well.

As said above just thin it slightly less for brush painting , i use it all the time
