Steyr 1500 update 9/14

Post by InitialProduction1 »

Trying to keep busy, my PzIII for Michaels build out of paint, my initial tiger build, paint questions can't find answers for, and two other builds that I'd like to finish but my paint has other ideas, it keeps running out on me. Ugh I know I should lock my door yuk yuk. Anyway I started this Monday and started shooting my nato black on it today. Getting paint tomorrow. Yeepee. Hope you like.

I used the mixed paint colors that Tamiya gives in the instructions. After I seen Andys Tamiya PZIII N. I had to try it. I cut the seats up some and added Aves apoxie sculpt, to add torn material, don't know if you can see it. Might have to get a close up. The color of the foam in the seats came from a photo of a 1932 torn leather seat I have. Hope you like.

Thanks Madmattmodels89, yeah Tamiya is light in some detail. But there is no company that can pull off the engineering excellence that tamiya does, in my book, but I know I'll here otherwise.
Thank Augustus, now I wish I'd shown the kit, it is a really good kit, there's another manufacturer of one of these, but i know nothing of it.
Thanks chalkyw, I have a Dak dio in mind for this really good kit. Just hope I can get all the vehicles on it that I want to add. Haha.
