Crew - 1 driver, 1 commander and 9 gunners.

Commander to gunner, Fire!, Gunner to Commander, Which one Sir?

Was this the vehicle they called the Porcupine?
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Hi David, is this what you where thinking of, but I'm probably wrong or someone will enlighten me .
Image
The "Porcupine" an M4A3E8 with a fake gun & welded turret.
Can you see the side hull doors in the hull sides - were 25 x 28 inches
Image
The "Porcupine" it was all communications inside, to communicate with Air, Infantry, Navy & Artilery

Sorry, Pete, the M15A may have been real, but the photos have been heavily manipulated. Most of those guns are pasted on, you can see from the difference in the sharpness. Also, I know for a fact that there's no room behind the 3-piece transmission cover for the rest of the gun that can be seen sticking out of it. The gun emerging just below the driver's view port is blurred where it joins the hull, showing that's not really there either, and I'm pretty sure that the turret front has just been flipped and pasted on the side. If you take away the fake guns..... it's a picture of an M3 Grant/Lee. The source of the image is the problem here, look what's on the very next page:

Caption: "This photograph shows a mixture of conventional armor and humanoid combat mecha advancing across desert terrain. The exact location where this picture was taken is unknown, as are the nationality of the military units. Best guess places it in the Middle East."

Sorry to be a pain, Pete! I used to be a photoshop wonk for many years and had to do things like remove cellulite from Naomi Campbell's bottom (I still get flashbacks.... it was a whole shoot's worth of photos) and I'm also a bit of a pedant, I'm afraid.

Yes, I'll have to remember that, "pedant" rivet-counting in other words .May be better safer not to post in the future.
