Tamiya Diorama Snow Paint - WOW!!!

Post by Stokesy44 »

I saw this stuff in a demo on Andy's Hobby Headquarters YT channel this morning. I don't know if its new to everyone but its new to me.

Tamiya Diorama Texture Paint Snow Effect
Tamiya Diorama Texture Paint Powder Snow Effect

Check out 3.03 for where its on the back of the tank - damn that looks like snow to me! :jd:

I got all excited because of the Winter is Coming SIG. Couldn't help myself so I bought some on Amazon.

And a diorama base!

And some wooden crates!

Kind a got a little carried away there for a while
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

That Tamiya Snow Effect does look pretty good.

Watching that video, and a similar review of Tamiya's product range done by Jim Starkweather at KitMaker Network, I noticed they each spoke about "new" Tamiya products, available for quite some time in other regions of the world. Tamiya Panel Line Accent "Color", for example; if they use uniquely American spelling (for colour) on the label, you have to wonder why it took so long to introduce it into the U.S. market?
