Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Wow, I'm first?!

With the Valkyrie build bogged down in seam line refilling and resanding and my sanity taking a hit, I thought I'd take a breather and recharge the mojo with a Bandai HGUC (1/144) Geara Zulu. Great little kit and only a couple small seams to fill.

Given the very WW I German infantry feel to it, right down to the potato masher hand grenades, I painted with Mr Color German Grey, Dark Grey, and a bright yellow (c329) as a tip of the hat to the yellow nosed 109s. Some Alclad magnesium was used for the joints and hands, Alclad dull aluminum for the thruster bells.

Mainly I wanted to try a reverse wash technique and this was the perfect kit for it; the white markings are Ultimate white primer under a gloss coat, covered with Testors flat black, then the raised details are wiped with mineral spirits to reveal the white again.

No real weathering to speak of, just a "showroom" finish. I did do some panel lining with Tamiya liners and a bit of a gunk wash around the power cables. Ultimate Dark Dirt was used on the weapons.

My Feline Fever build is starting to look like a Hellcat. It's the Eduard 1:48 F6F-5 ProfiPACK that comes with PE and resin wheel. The cockpit is complete and now installed. The fuselage assembly is coming along, just a bit of cleanup before hitting it with Stynylrez Black primer. That will be followed with an all-over coat of Tamiya XF-17 Sea Blue. Other than a few minor issues, the fit has been real good.

Revell (Zvezda) 1/2700 Imperial Star Destroyer.

Finished my submission for the the Summer Sci-Fi GB. Great fun!

Primed in Ultimate Gray, painted 10:1 in Tamiya XF-2 Flat White and XF-55 Deck Tan.

Al MacNeish - Tamiya 1/48 A-1J Skyraider

Progress so far - Ultimate Black Primer, Tamiya acrylic paints and then a complete strip back to plastic using Mr Color Leveling Thinner. Was going to abandon and use as a paint mule but carried on:

Re-primed and first use of MRP paints. Really screwed up putting the decals on (one of them disintegrated in the water) so it's a mix and mash of what was left. Still got to clear coat then it will be used as a weathering mule - I need the practice.

Been trying to get my Fujimi 1/20 Kart done, have been working on this on and off for about a year. I've removed most of the molded in details from the frame and replaced them with scratch build parts like the brake caliper, spindles and the carburetor. Paints so far has been Ultimate black primer, a bunch of Alclads and Badger gremlin green. Still need to do the body panels and add a few more details.

This week I have been working on my Bandai 1/72 Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon. The cockpit is all assembled minus the fitting of the canopy. The figures were painted using Vallejo Model Color paints and the cockpit detail picked out using some ultra fine tip paint pens. I messed up the decals for this as I found them extremely difficult to get them to sit down over the raised detail. So far a great build and looking forward to continuing with it.

Continued to work on the Feline Fever Puma - the interior (not currently visible) was completed with Ultimate Red Oxide primer (the old stuff) followed by a general coat of Vallejo ModelAir Ivory, detailing and weathering. The turret hole (?) was then masked off before the two hull halves were joined and the fender sections added. There's a few minor seams/gaps to deal with along the main join but overall still enjoying the build. Hoping to get the main build done this weekend and then ready for priming.
