RAF Interiors

Post by GMahaffey »

I'm getting to work on a Tamiya 1/32 spitfire MK XVIe. The callouts call for x-71 cockpit green(IJN). In Model Masters range there is RAF Interior Green what would be your suggestion between those?

I have used XF-71 on RAF interiors as well and it looks fine to me. From reading about this previously there is a lot of debate of what the actual shade was used and whether there was consistency in what was actually used so I wouldn't get too caught up in getting the perfect shade (and even if you do get the 'perfect' colour, after weathering it will look different anyway :th:)
