Flickr is there an easier way?

Post by CJSomerset »

Just spent an hour setting up a Flickr account and then uploading, so I can start posting pics again.

And then AARRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHH! Seriously? There must be an easier way?

The only way I can get it to show up on the forum is to get the BBCode and then cut parts of it out? that can't be right surely?
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints!

The BBcode should just work straight away

It sort off works on it's own, if you don't mind having your file name followed by your name followed by an avert for flickr after every pic

You can delete the start and the end of the bb code so it only shows the picture - the only part of the code you need to keep is the part in the middle in bold below

I do the cut out thing in preview just before I post. That way I know I have correct spelling and grammar and the photos look ok
Not THAT big of a deal
I think Bod did an app to make it easier...it is on here somewhere

Can anyone else see this? I hope I've managed to make Google photos work on the forum? I still need to tweak the code on each shot :wall: but at least I don't have to download each shot from Google photos and then upload them to Flickr before doctoring the code...

I can't see the pic. All I can see is a grey circle with a minus sign in the centre.

Thanks Spook but I don't want to have to use my phone for uploads ( I usually want to type loads about a pic so need a real keyboard)

I've found http://postimages.org now and it seems to work a treat.

There is a different app in Google Play, https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... Bcode_lite.

But I don't have experience with it, I don't have Android! :-)
