Looking good Graham, I built the non-starter kit version of this and was very pleased with how it went together etc.

Are you doing it in the box scheme or something else?

I tend to build out of the box - so will be using Airfix colour scheme -
quite a nice little kit - got a few starter kits from smiths when they had buy on get one 1/2 price
just got to find the spinner cover the carpet monster ate (might be a delve into the spares box lol or fasion one out of filler)

Is the Hobbycraft at Ventura Park still around? They are not often a cheap place to get kits, but at least its an option if your looking for more.

If your wondering how a Scot living in Oban knows about Hobbycraft at Ventura Park, its because my misses is from just outside Kingsbury lol, so been down there several times.

Yep still there but not a great range and all top prices (although i did pick up a 1/24 Mossie for £50 in January) but ok when you need a couple of paints

I have the 1/48 109 that I got when I joined the airfix club. It is model in a captured uk from aviation test centre bovington and the japan export scheme
