Alonso’s McLaren MP4/30

Post by Shunter »

I have started on this one, it is a very nice kit but Ebbro certainly like to make you work just to get the body parts together.....

Started the sanding process which is really needed on this kit, also i think whoever did the tooling was maybe not a fan, all these sink marks....OMG :D

Well I hope I keep your interest Scott😋
The Ebbro kits are good and they have done some cars we may never have seen, if you compare to a Tamiya, I wouldn’t say they are worlds apart but t isn’t the same. If you build a Revell kit, this will be easy for you.

Let the decal fun begin...The paint has an eggshell texture to it, but the decals adhere well to it. I have no doubt that it will pop when the 2K goes on it.

More decal work, the kit decals are very good and complying well with Micro Sol & Set along with the hairdryer.

You could scratch that into a pretty decent SiFi build I would suggest. Not that you would want to, but the basic shape is there.
Looking pretty slick :th: :th: :th: :cheers2:

Decals are now done and a little window of opportunity to get some clear onto the body parts. Loving the Gravity Colors Graphite under the 2K, it just shines. I have added the Johnny Walker decals as well and this brings the car alive.
