Progress on the Resicast Ford T Vickers Gun Carrier is moving at the speed of a lame racing snail but still plodding along.

After finishing the build the vehicle was washed down and then given a coat of Ultimate Black primer followed by Vallejo Model Air Dark Olive Drab and a misting of US Olive Drab. The front grille's had a black clay wash, and the decking has a wooden base colour applied.

The driver has been painted in various shades of ModelColour Greens & Khakis and obviously left it parked up in a rough part of town as some bugger's nicked the wheels.

Howdy all!

Finally back to making models. Here is my 1/48 Academy Mig-21MF. Primed in Alclad Gloss Black. Shiny bits are in Alclad Aircraft Aluminum . Still a ways to go; but, it's been fun so far.

Hope everyone has a great week!

New Project DAF XF with Custom box trailer 1/24. Trade Copiers Ltd Penrith.
As I am waiting parts to finish the Jenkinson Scania, I thought I would plan the next build. I acquired the tractor blueprints and rescaled them on the computer to 1/24, this allows me to use it as a template when fettling the donor kit, cutting plastic for custom building or deciding on what resin is required for the project. Artwork has been provided from the vehicle wrapping company so I can get custom decals ordered, truck brochure acquired for reference and loads of photo's taken. Big shopping list for Telford, KFS have a trade stand there, lots of resin already on order from A & N resin in Latvia.

I admit it, I’ve been binge watching ‘The Blacklist’ and haven’t got much modelling done. However, I imagine that most modellers are like me and have a few kits on the go at one time in various stages of completion. So, here are the six kits that I’m currently working on. Starting from the top right and working clockwise: A 1/72 Fujimi Aichi D3A2 almost ready for decalling. A Kora 1/72 Curtiss SNC-1 that only needs some yellow on the wings and will be in Peruvian markings. Next the Welsh Models 1/144 Fokker F-27 that is giving me all kinds of grief in getting the grey to go down right. Then the Amodels 1/72 Dassault Falcon 100 which is almost ready for buttoning up. Next the 1/144 F-Rsin resin Potez 62 that I’ve just started cleaning the parts on before assembly. On the top left hand corner is my nemesis, a 1/144 VLE Models vacform and white metal Sikorsky S.38 kit. I’ve been working on it for four or five years and every time I feel like throwing it in the bin I put it back in its box and wait six months. At this rate it should be ready to show by 2024.

I've finished working on Monogram GSX '70 1/24. Primer Tamiya Fine Surface Primer Pink and main colour is Tamiya TS-39 Mica Red + TS-13 clear. Little bare metal foil here and there. White Tamiya X-2 inside. + Fujimi's trolley jack 1/24 for future maintenance in that car.

More work on the diorama for my 1/24 Italeri Transit.

Original scatter base, covered with a loose mix of household filler, which was painted grey with some cheap acrylics. Then sealed with AquaGloss before liberal application of assorted Ultimate washes.
Some spider webs added to the van, using UHU glue!

Enjoying this now and on should be finished in plenty of time for Telford.

Hello guys. I have had a bussy week this week and my progress has been weak.

Oh hi there first post on forum. Yeeey!
Well i finished my 1/72nd typhoon by Airfix it was a sweet build it fitted so well i didnt believed it was Airfix at all.
i decided not to use any decals for insasion stripes, greenish stripe on tail and yellow lines on the wing, all masked and airbrushed.
Paints are mix of Tamiya and MR hobby
Black was done using umton oil woth zippo fuild as thinner then sealed with Tamiya Xf-86 and bit of weathering.
Hope you like! Nice live lads.

Finished the Revell 1/48 Roland CII
Used MRP primer with mr hobby paints for the camouflage scheme and Tamiya for the markings which I made my own masks. First attempt at the rigging, very fiddly and time consuming but well worth the effort.
Have still got to put up the final build photos in the WWI GB thread and then get started on a base for it
