Hi everyone and thank you for checking my first build :
I've spent the last three months looking at other people's work, joining the live shows, joining groups and so on and I've finally decided to give it a go. Being a new comer to this hobby I have a limited budged as you could expect therefore picking a first proper kit was difficult but I finally decided to go with the 1/35 scale Dingo 2 GE A3.3 PatSi from Revell.
I've been working on it for the past month and I've learned a lot from it so far.
I've followed the exact steps showed in the instructions and I've started with the chassis:

Since I had the chassis done I've decided to also trow some paint on it:

Next step was to build the interior and I've also glued together the doors because I was sure I will not be able to paint them once I place them on the body and the hood because I wanted to test the newly bought paint from Revell (code 32189) and my skills of course :wall:

I've decided to build some sort of base for it with the idea to transform it in a diorama. The base was made for foam covered with paper tissues soaked into a mix of water and PVC glue:

From this point on a lot of things went wrong especially fitments issues, breaking the small parts, instructions having gaps in them and so on but I finally managed to get to this point when I threw my first wash with some oil paint I use on my paintings:

Looking at these pictures I've noticed a lot of things I need to fix and I will soon :D this is not done yet

If that is your first kit then you are doing very well.

Thank you guys for the kind words.
Well yes, this is the first kit I've built. A lot of time spent on doing research to be honest.
I've realized in the past weeks that this is quite an expensive hobby :)) and I need to get some $ to invest in some tools, paints etc.
