Hello all,
Been working on this Revell Leopard 2A6/A6M. I used styrene and a few 3d printed parts to add things like additional armor, stowage, other bits. Originally wanted this to be a Leo 2A7v, but I've since added parts from the PSO, A7+, and A7DK. Any naming suggestions?
Cheers
- Gino

Howdy all,
Finally finished a model. First one in over 6 months! This is an Academy MiG-21PF Fishbed-D. Basecoated in Ultimate Gloss Black Primer. Painted in Alclad Aircraft Aluminum. Other stuff was painted in the Tamiya acrylic range. Quite the fun little kit.
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and will have a good weekend!

Zvezda 1/35 Panzerjager 1 is almost there - just a bit more dirt to do now that the friul tracks are on. Will be using this in a diorama so there will be a few figures and other bits and pieces added later as part of that.

Work has continued on the WW1 GB Resicast Ford-T Vickers Gun Carrier this week. Everything's been dirtied up with Mig Pigments and given a coat of AK Ultra Matte. The Vickers gun and two figures have been painted up and dry-fitted to make sure it all still goes together ok.
Hoping to get some time to work on the base and four other figures this weekend.

My first experience preshading using an airbrush so let's see how it works out...

So Mathew work continues on 1.48 Tamiya Spitfire for Tim's #Brit48 build. Premiered in black Ultimate and base coated with Mr Hobby 364 Aircraft Gray green.
Pilot replaced with a figure from PJ Productions Ref 481102 and painted with a mixture of model color. Instrument panel dry brushed and then a drop of Aqua Clear Gloss. Hope you enjoy.

Don’t mind the cat in the background, he’s only four months old and I’m lucky he’s not trying to eat the models rather than just wandering past.
This is the Anigrand 1/144 model of the Nakajima G5N2 (Liz). When you buy these Anigrand kits you also get three smaller ‘bonus kits’ and I thought I’d make them all together this time so, from the right, the Aichi E16A (Paul), the Kawasaki Ki-78 (Ken) and Yokosuka R2Y. Yesterday my bottle of Ultimate black primer arrived from BNA so I thought I’d try it on these models. I’m pretty impresses.
No progress report next time, I’m spend next week in the fleshpots of Sydney.

Hello folks
This week I have mainly been catching up on stuff but managed to find a few micro seconds to stick together the Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IXc (9c Dan). OK it's just the stand but it's a start
Glue used - Tamiya Extra Thin as demonstrated in the Ultimate Glue Bottle Holder

Been working on a SBS Model 1/48 Caudron C.600 Aiglon for the past week. It's one of the best resin kits I have seen, most parts can be press fit together with no glue. As there isn't much reference material available I've picked colors that looks kind of close to the one color photo I've found of the cockpit and added details as I wanted. The control sticks are scratch build from 0.5-0.9 mm brass tubing and the seat belts where made from Tamiya tape and some PE buckles. It's been painted in Vallejo Model Air PRU blue and Model Color Green Sky and then chipped a lot, the seats are a number of different browns. It was then given a dark brown oil wash and finally added pigments from dried Ultimate Earth to the floor and bottom half of the walls.

Hello Paul & the Live Crew
haven't finished anything worth showing model-wise, but did get a small selection of displaybases done for future models. Getting spraypaint to cover outside at this time of the year is a pain in the a**.
I also received my Ultimate-goodie bag for my Panther diorama i won a while ago, and would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who voted for it. It made me very proud

Also converted over to the Forum so Dan wouldn't butcher my name again
Have a nice Weekend everyone!
