AMT Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 454

I finished this one up about 2 years ago as well.
The kit is an AMT Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 454.

The paint is ScaleFinishes Chevrolet Safari Yellow with ScaleFinishes clear. The wheels are from Steve Zimmerman and all the chrome is painted with Spazstix chrome. All the trim for the chrome around the vinyl roof was made by me, as well as the trim on the top of the door and around the rear tail light center panel, all using styrene strips.

The vinyl roof effect is made by using 3M spray glue then it is sprayed with Tamiya Semi Gloss Black. Interior is flocked, and Model Car Garage GM seat belts were added. I had to slam it down to get that aggressive nice stance. I also used the Model Car Garage Photo Etch set. In addition to all of this, it is fully wired and plumbed.

The BMF on this one tested my patience, lol but I feel it turned out alright. My only complaint is the grille, it is not the greatest for detail, and I couldn't figure out the ModelCarGarage photo etch grille worked out.

Thanks Kev! The over spray is always something I am afraid I will over-do. I looked through a lot of pictures to make sure I didn't get it too heavy.
