Hi Dan and ISM Crew.
Finished the 1/24 Revell Audi A4 DTM 2011

*primed with Ultimate White Primer
* Painted with decanted TS14 and the roof was AK Extreme Aluminium
* Decals laid down with Ultimate Decal Solutions
* Cleared with Pro Range 2K
* Polished with Ultimate polishing system

I was reasonably happy with the kit until I went to fit the body to the chassis.
It is way too tight and I am afraid I could damage something if I keep putting pressure.
Thanks for looking
Please find a deconstructed Audi A4

Got the D'Antin Pramac Ducati done!
1/12 Tamiya kit

Done with decanted TS-49 bright red and TS-40 metallic black.
Tamiya acrylics and some Alclad metal paint, over Tamiya white/grey primer.
Built oob, no detail up parts of any kind (couldn't find any, that were reasonable).
Added some Scale Motorsport CF here and there.
[Would like to try the magnets on the fairings, but apparently so does everyone else...]

Pretty satisfied with it, learning each time I do one.
Thanks! Happy Friday Guys. :thumb1:

Evening young Dan. You'll be devastated to know that I've finished mucking about with Eggy things and finished off the Tiger I dio I've been working on since February last year - hasn't the world changed since then!

This is Tamiya's 1/35 Tamiya I ausf E (late) which came with the crew included, with tracks from AFV Club. The figures are from a variety of Tamiya sets and the fuel drums and other assorted bits and pieces are a mix of Tamiya & Miniart. Finally the base is by Diodump.

Painting has been done with Ultimate primers, Vallejo Model Air & Model Colour, Andrea, Scale 75 & Lifecolour and weathering was done with a combination of clay washes, pigments & oils from a variety of brands with ground scatter from Diodump.

Stay safe & well everyone.

Evening all,

Small progress on the 1/48 Kinetic EA-6B Prowler and 1/72 Airfix Buccaneer S 1C.

Prowler primed in a mix of Ultimate white and grey primers (really loving the colour) and topcoated with MRP-097 U.S. Dark Ghost Grey and Tamiya LP-5 Semi Gloss Black.

Bucc primed in that sexy Ultimate primer mix awaiting topcoat.

Have a great weekend everybody

This week I finished this Tamiya 1/35 SU-76 which I've been working on during my breaks from real work. The main colour is Tamiya XF58 Olive Green, and weathering has been done using mostly Ultimate dark dirt wash. I was tempted to get friul tracks but in the end decided to persevere with the fiddly individual links in the kit - had a couple of issues fitting them on but quite pleased with the end result.

Good evening happy modellers!

Here is an almost completed 1/144 Fokker 70 in the livery of Alliance Airlines. The kit is a modified Revell Fokker 100 with Welsh Models engines. The main paints are Tamiya TS-26 Pure White, TS-83 Metallic Silver, TS-15 Blue, TS-47 Chrome Yellow - all decanted - and LP 54 Dark Iron and my own brew of grey. The decals are from the kit, Ric Warcup and Welsh Models.

Hello, I finished the Airfix 1/72 B-17 Mk.III in RAF markings. It was a great kit which went together really well. The surface detail was quite plain so I riveted the entire aircraft. I added resin engines, turbo chargers and wheels. It was painted with Hataka Lacquer paints and weathered with neat 502 oils.

I finished the Zvezda 1/144 scale Tu-160 tonight for the 80's build. Minimal paint brush work - most of the plane is painted with Humbrol Gloss 22 from an rattle can. The kit is quite a good one - but you MUST follow the steps in the instructions regarding the engines and intakes otherwise you end up in a lot of trouble. Do not ask how I know this. The only real downside is that the cockpit really, really, needs a pre-cut mask kit to get a good finish - I tried using Maskol and it failed. Miserably as you can see.
