I finished my Industria Mechanika 1/35 Manchu’s Steam Car.

Tamiya LP and Mr Metal Color paints were used for the car, Vallejo Model Color for the figures and various acrylics with Ultimate Washes for the base (a Miniart street dio) mounted on Cherry wood.

A really enjoyable kit to build/paint and I’ve titled it "Hey Fred, I think we're lost...”.

Tamiya 1:12 Ducati 1199 Panigale S - Tricolore

Nice kit that built well and not a bad result for my first 1/12 bike kit. Hobby design and Tamiya front fork upgrades used.

Zero paints Ducati red and brilliant white used along with Zero 2K other paints used Tamiya LP's/acrylics and some Vallejo.

Just finished my Revell Ford GT 2017 LM, tricky paint job, and fiddly assembly, but it turned out ok in the end.

I used Tamiya LP's and Pro-Range 2K. Have a good weekend everyone

Good evening happy modellers (whether you’re happy or not).

This evening here is progress on the 1/72 Azur Dewoitine 376. All it needs now is a coat of silver lacquer, decaling and final assembly and it will be finished. This is a lovely little kit but attaching the fuselage to the wings is a trial by ordeal achieved only with generous helpings of harsh language.

Carrying on with finishing the OT-90 conversion I started years ago... Very fiddly rear door hinges - as they seem to be as reliable as the track links in staying where they are meant to be I will be assembling the doors in the closed position as there is no interior to view. I originally planned on scratch-building the rear spine and sets but for some reason I have long since forgotten now I stuck the hull top on..

This is a WIP Tamiya 1/12 Ducati Panigale S 1199 just a great kit
Hey, there are lots of Tamiya Ducatis being built for the informal Duck group build on the forum

Mine is a yellow white factory scheme
Tamiya XF-3 yellow + X-26 clear orange to make an orange/yellow “ CAT” colour. White is decanted TS -26 pure white
Blacks are mostly Ultimate gloss black primer
Fairings are magnetically attached and removable
I am building slowly as we are back to work and busy again after the shutdown so much less modelling time

This is Tamiya's 1/24 1982 Celica Supra made up as the Marshall's car for the Long Beach Grand Prix. I'm almost done - finishing the corner glass and wheel arches. A very basic kit on pretty old tooling (1981 copyright marks on the chassis) it nonetheless went together pretty well. I think the combo of TS-86 Pure Red and the yellow/orange decals is pretty striking. The headlights can be flipped up and down, but take your time building, as the mechanism needs careful alignment and fitting if you want them to move smoothly (like mine don't).

I previously tried to sell this kit but nobody wanted it. May as well build it then...

It's a Mirror Models 1/35 CMP C15A truck. The kit comes with a ton of PE and a few resin parts, and the instructions are just a bunch of photographs of each step - no easy to follow assembly diagrams here! So far it's been the fiddliest kit I've ever built, and judging from the fact I've still got about 75% of the PE parts to use, it's only going to get worse! No wonder nobody wanted to buy it

Tamiya 1/48 M1A2 Abrams

Another one of the bench, love these 1/48 Armour kits from Tamiya. My first ever Desert Camo and i'm happy how it came out. there's a few things I'll alter after seeing the pics in editing and im open any comments or critique

* Tamiya 1/48 M1A2 Abrams
* Primed in Ultimate Black Primer
* Base painted in Tamiya LP-30
* Paint high and low lights done using lighter and darker tones of the base colour
* Raw umber pin washed
* Oil dot filtered with Winsor & Newton oils
* Chiping done with Ak gunmetal via brush and sponge and * Graphite pencil
* Sand and Light Dirt Ultimate Clay washes used on tracks and lower surfaces
* All paints and Ultimate wash sprayed through the Ultimate Apex Airbrush

Evening young Dan. Bit of a mixed bag from me this week as I appear to have three projects on the go at the moment.

• On the left are the chassis & main gun from a Miniart 1/35 SU-76 - this kit hasn't been great but is slowly coming together and currently working on the individual track links

• Top right is a Italeri 1/72 Opel Blitz with additional resin cargo from ModelTrans. This has gone together pretty well so far considering the age of the original moulds (1974) just needs the cab adding before weathering.

• Bottom right is one of the modules for the MPC 1/96 Eagle Transporter from Space 1999. Another kit which has its origins in the early 70s but is going together well so far with a little sanding and TLC.

Wingnut Wings the 'Duelists' Felixstowe [early] and Hansa-Brandenburg

Work continues on the Felix with the central wing/engine assembly complete and starting to come alive now the rigging is also being added.

Good evening all hope everyone are well.

Thought i would share my last kit completed, that being the Tamiya 1/48 US 2 1/2 Ton-6x6 cargo truck.
Primed in Ultimate black and then Model Color paints, rear bed canvas is made from toilet paper (unused). It was all sealed with Winsor and Newton Gloss or matt vanishes through the different stages. With a little oil pin wash.
