Great weathering and I love the little detail of the bucket and helmet

A JT that's been involved in some dirty action....
Mufflers are done to a tee.....the colour and shading is spot on....what's ya secret..
Very nice texture on the mantlet very realistic.
To me it looks like a realtively new tank that's been through some very muddy terrain and then forded a stream so that all the heavy mud on the wheels is washed away.

Thank you! The helmet was a last minute add on because i broke the pry bar and couldn't get it glued straight

I saw the method I used on the exhaust on YouTube. I painted them Tamiya flat flesh, sponged on Tamiya hull red and them gave them a dark brown oil wash.

You made me realize that the inner surface of the tracks was too clean. I went back to the bench and added some pigments to them real quick. I think it needs more work, maybe some more dark pigments in places.

As Digger says, very real. You can almost hear that engine groaning as the beast clanks around in the woods. Its the last few months of the war and its sheer desperation keeping the crew going. I'm not romanticizing it but the JT always symbolizes the twilight of the German mechanized forces to me. Seeing a kit this good sets it off for me. Great work

Thank you Stokesy. Nice description. I agree, It is a good representation of their final desperation. There were so many uniquely designed vehicles in WWII. Now everyone's mechanization pretty much looks the same.
