This is my build of the Eduard 1:48 MkI Spitfire flown by F/Lt Douglas Bader June 1940

Top job. I like the mottled under painting and the blue tac for the colour masking. Eduard make a good product, youve done it proud.

it wasn't blue tac is was "smart putty" which is similar to "Panzer putty" or "silly putty" in that you can shape it to any shape however it will eventually return to its original shape so, for example, if you leave the "mask" overnight it will "flatten" and loose its shape!
the good thing about it is that it doesn't leave any residue, I've found that blue tac does, and, as blue tac, can be used over again.
