Does anyone use a magnifier visor when modelling? I'm finding I have to take my glasses off more and more when working on detail stuff as my minimum focal distance through my glasses means I cant view small parts close up while wearing them.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have the original USA manufactured product which is expensive and when I did I could only afford to buy it with 1 lens. After sometime they became
inadequate, I needed a higher resolution and so I searched and came across a cheaper version made in China of course. It came with 4 different lenses,after much internal debate I bought them and never regretted it. The lenses were great and the head gear was not quite as good. The original has a leather cushion around the forehead area while the knock off has synthetic material and it's biggest draw back being the side finger thumb nuts tend to work themselves loose.....bit of a pain.
So I use the Optivisor head piece and the Chinese lenses and it works fine no headaches or the like at all.
I don't recommend using a magnifier with a light type of solution as it's hard to keep parts in focus all the time because as you move around, twistt your head then you have to readjust all the time....a pain.
I don't know what the ones that clip to your glasses are like, but I imagine keeping ones glasses on maybe a problem.
The ones that are attached to a cap may work ok, but maybe might collect a few finger prints flipping it up and down. I have no experience with these either.

The USA original will set you back about 200 bucks aud to get all the lenses.

I find mine ( original) to be very comfortable to wear for protracted periods.
