Ark Avro Shackleton MK-3 1/72

Post by deckape »

Ahoy
Here is my first post on my finished Avro Shackleton The kit is a Frog kit with a different Manufacture Name. although this kit went through Frog Revell and a couple others manufactures now a Russian firm call Ark models. There are pro and cons on this old bird, for starters Rosie the Riveter had a hayday on the rivets they are over done so I sanded them down using plenty of water and joy liquid detergent. The instructions are very poor they don't give you a paint schedule if a Novis ever attempted to paint the model he would be in the dark. Also there are no armament that fits in the bomb bay the bomb bay doors are functional the landing flaps and control surfaces work as well. I went ahead and cemented them down I have no use for a gimmick model. Here is my mighty flying spark plug thanks fellas for viewing my last build of 2013. Happy New Year to each and everyone of you.

Could not see any pictures or any video.. but the Shackleton is a beautiful, if a bot odd, looking aircraft and not often seen as a model, so I'm looking forward to seeing your work.. :)
