Tamiya Tyrrell P34 1977 Monaco GP FINISHED!!!

Post by Wayne »

So here we go my first build of 2014. Santa was good to me and got me the Tyrrell P34 one of my all time favourite Formula 1 cars. I really cant wait to do this kit. As you would expect from Tamiya the kit is awesome no flash no pin marks on the parts you see and the level of detail is epic. Wish me luck :)

So the box

85% of the engine built up. HT leads will go in the little place next week at some point. The other 2 images are of the engine and rear subframe just mocked up just to see what she is starting to look like. That is also about 80% done the rest of that will be done next week.

Update.
Done alot of the small parts on the rear end and got all the drive train done. The ford logo was a right pain in the backside. No matter how i did it with a brush it would bleed out and toss it up. Then i was up my mums talking to my mate about it and said i might try putting the paint on some tape and lay out over the logo. Then he came up with using a rubber and stamping it. Awesome idea worked out awesome. Not at all bad from a guy that does not do scale models. This has been by far one of the hardest kits i have done and i am loving it. Its really starting to come together now.
