I started this kit to be my first all Alclad painted kit. It's nice but simple kit although some of the details could be better. Some of the joint surfaces are in bad spots and may require extra work to remove the seams. Cockpit is very simple tub with a decal for the instrument panel. The instrument panel is recessed for the dials if you wish to paint your own rather than use the decal. I've left the nose off as weight will have to added to keep the nose wheel on the ground. Two decal options are provided, one for the pacific theatre and one for the Indian( far East) theatre.
I'll add seat belts as the cockpit looks empty without them.

Tom, It's a decal. The instrument panel is recessed with dials so if you want to paint the individual dials you can or if you want to fit individual dial decals you can. Too time consuming for me so I just gloss painted the panel black and applied the decal applying lots of Microset in the process to get the decal to sit down.

Okay a bit more work on the lightning.
Both props painted and decaled. Still have to apply a clear kote.
Spinner has been painted in Alclad Aluminium and masked for a red band near the hub.
And the result after the mask has been removed.
The under carriage has been painted and dry fitted and the doors and wheel wells painted Aqueous Hobby colour H58 Interior green. Cockpit was done in the same colour. I now have to make a tube of weights for the nose as this is one tail sitter without weight.

Looking good. Really like how those "spinners" turned out.
