Let's see your 2014 SiG and GB kits

because if so i have a sweet looking sws with a zehnling

Modern artillery is most obviously distinguished by its large caliber, firing an explosive shell or rocket, and being of such a size and weight as to require a specialized carriage for firing and transport. However, its most important characteristic is the use of indirect fire, whereby the firing equipment is aimed without seeing the target through its sights. Indirect fire emerged at the beginning of the 20th century and was greatly enhanced by the development of predicted fire methods in World War I. Indirect fire uses firing data set on the sights, predicted fire methods ensure that these data are accurate and corrects for variations from the standard conditions for muzzle velocity, temperature, wind, and air density.

Weapons covered by the term 'modern artillery' include "cannon" artillery (such as howitzer, mortar, and field gun) and rocket artillery. Certain smaller-caliber mortars are more properly designated small arms rather than artillery, albeit indirect-fire small arms. This term also came to include coastal artillery which traditionally defended coastal areas against seaborne attack and controlled the passage of ships. With the advent of powered flight at the start of the 20th century, artillery also included ground-based anti-aircraft batteries.
The term "artillery" has traditionally not been used for projectiles with internal guidance systems, preferring the term "missilery",[citation needed] though some modern artillery units employ surface-to-surface missiles. Advances in terminal guidance systems for small munitions has allowed large-caliber guided projectiles to be developed, blurring this distinction.

Going by this definition then AA can be included. So, all those Flak 88s are now a go, which would also mean that flakpanzers are included too I suppose...

The problem is as this was a SiG for artillery, we were trying to keep essentially what is commonly known as artillery - such as field guns, SPGs, howitzers, cannons, unguided rockets etc - otherwise it just gets diluted. Never mind, a Flak 88 does look, for all intents and purposes, a field gun I suppose...

Going to try my first GB..... going with 100 years of bombers.
I thought about going for the B-17 Mk.I Sally B as it lives literally a mile down the road for me in the Duxford air museum.

I changed my mind though and thought i'd go a little more unusual. This is the model I got for it, thought it was a little different.

And (unfortunately) any of these would qualify for the SHELF OF DOOM LTGB but the Porsche Tiger and the T-55 and 95% built already so I think I'll go with the 1/48th Crusader and maybe the 1/72nd Brummbar...

That's a different tank, the Porsche Variant of the Tiger II/Kingtiger, mine's a Porsche Variant of the Tiger I

That Porsche Tiger II/Kingtiger P is a Tiger II chassis with a different turret. The Porsche Tiger I/Tiger P that I have is a Tiger I turret with a different chassis. Comon guys its so simple...

So simple I had to colour-code it Still looks like a beast of a kit though, that one's going on my birthday list!!

on this one i'm not sure wich kit but a muscle car and then make it stand out from the standard ones with a crazy paint job but i'm still running a test on the paint
if i have the time or i'll enter later as it is a long term build

the dangerous cat sig
a panther( who would have thought about that) by dragon/cyber hobby
it will be the black knights series panther ausf g late production that i want to use as a base for a night fighting tank

as for the rest of the builts
still thinking and looking for kit but i have some time before they start

Hello

This my plans for 2014 GB and SIG's at ISM.
For 100-years of bombers GB build i definitely build one of them. I not decide yet maybe you will help me choose one of them


For the Night Fighters SIG i will go with one or both this kits:


And D-Day GB build will be covered by my P-47D Razorback from Tamiya 1/48. I have to buy some after markets decals with D-Day paint scheme.


And If I have time I also have plan to join Radzy Flying Boats GB with one of my Tamiya kit in 1/48 N1k1 Korfu or A6M2-N Ruffe.
For Self of Doom SIG I will not decide yet witch kit I will build. But I think it will be plenty of them to complete.
